Our Design Process – From Concept to Reality
Designing a space is more than just selecting colours and furnishings — it's about understanding how a room should feel, flow, and function. Our process is collaborative, creative, and carefully structured to bring your vision to life with clarity and confidence.
1. Discovery & Consultation
Every project begins with a conversation. We take time to understand how you live, what inspires you, and what practical needs the space must fulfil. Whether it's a full renovation or a single-room transformation, this step ensures your personality and lifestyle are at the heart of the design.
2. Concept Development
Using mood boards, sketches, and material samples, we begin shaping the visual direction of the room. This is where style and substance meet — a chance to explore colour palettes, finishes, and spatial ideas that feel uniquely yours.
3. 3D Modelling & Visualisation
With SketchUp and V-Ray, we create detailed 3D models that allow you to see your future space before any work begins. These lifelike visuals help bring the concept to life, offering a clear picture of proportions, lighting, textures, and layout — so you can make decisions with confidence and excitement.
4. Refinement & Final Design
We work closely with you to fine-tune every element — ensuring the final design not only looks beautiful but also functions effortlessly. From storage solutions to furniture placement, every detail is thoughtfully considered.
5. Implementation Support
Whether you're working with your own contractors or need guidance along the way, we can provide support during the implementation phase to help ensure the finished space stays true to the vision.

Before & after pictures ...

The original room was a galley kitchen from the 1970' with pine cabinets and vinyl flooring.
The room was re-purposed as a utility room / passageway to a new kitchen. We had to consider that in this case, the utility room is the first room people see when they walk through the front door. Therefore functionality had to be combined with aesthetics. A simple Shaker style cabinetry design was recommended with dark handles to give interest. To maintain minimalism, the colour scheme was based on neutral colours - a variations of off-white and green.
